Password Issues:

 Question: Why can’t I login to the MEB website?

If you cannot login to the MEB website there could be one of several issues.

1.    Only MEB Members in good standing are authorized to login to the site.

2.    Login name is the Email address that you used to sign up with when you registered or last updated your info.

3.    You did not create a profile in the system

Question: How do I become a MEB Member in good standing?

Answer: Most likely you would want to pay your annual dues, this is the most probable cause for your status being changed to less than Good Standing.

Question: What is my Email address?

If you forgot the email address that you used to sign up with, contact webmaster@earlybroncos.com via email and provide your new address. (Or the one you remember).

Question: I used to be able to login but I forgot my password…what can I do?

Click the link below the login screen that says “Forgot Your Password” and a page will open that will let you enter your email address.  A new randomly generated password will be sent to that address.  Login on the site using that password and your email address.  You can update your password once you successfully login.

Question: How do I know if I created a profile or not?

Go to http://earlybroncos.com/members.asp and look for your name, if you have a blue check mark next to your name then you have already created a profile, you need to see above FAQs one of them has to resolve your issue.

If you do not see a blue check then you need to create a profile.  Go to the following page http://www.earlybroncos.com/createprofile.asp and enter your email address and click “Begin Creation Process”, there are instructions on the page to assist you with the rest of the process.

Question: Who do I contact to help me with these issues?

Contact Webmaster@earlybroncos.com and someone will contact you.  Put “Website Help” in the title of the email so it will be easy to recognize.

Profile Issues

Question: What is a profile?

A profile (aka Member Space) is a dynamic website for MEB Members in good standing to post pictures, videos, and details about their Broncos and adventures.

Question: How do I create a profile?

Question: How many pictures can I post?

Each member can post six pictures on their page, along with a caption for each.

Question: How big can these pictures be?

Each Picture must be a maximum of 500K, this will keep the page from bogging down when someone views it.

Question: I uploaded a picture and I only get a red X where the picture should be on my page. Why is that?

At this time the picture upload and display tool has issues when there is a space in the file name that you uploaded. Just delete the entry in your console, rename your image file with no spaces, and try uploading again. This should solve your problem.

Question: Can I enlarge the picture when viewing on my page?

Yes…click on it and it will open in a larger window?

Question: How do I post videos on my page?

Go to www.youtube.com and create an account, it is free.  There you can follow their simple steps to upload a video, (It usually has to be an MPEG or AVI but there are many formats you can use.).  Once your video is uploaded, you copy the code on the upper right side of the screen.  It is what YouTube.com gives you to link to your video on another page.  Once you have copied this code, paste it into the web object box on your configuration page.  Save your info and view your page.  Your video should be in the center of your page ready to go.

Question: What is the HTML Editor built into my profile setup page for?

HTML is what you can use to make your description text look better when you are writing about your Bronco.  The editor has buttons that will insert proper HTML code into your text area.  Make sure to put your text between the tags.   For example…

“<h1>Welcome to My Page</H1>” will appear as

Welcome to My Page in your text.

Question: Can I add other colors to my background and font?

Yes…contact webmaster@earlybroncos.com and provide the color name or better yet the hex code for the color and it will be added to the database under your profile.

Question: What does the Hits mean and why is there a member name in their on some of them?

This is the number of unique views of your individual page, the IP address field is just to show you that it was someone different, and the timestamp is actually on the server in California, so it is PST.  In some cases you will see a member name on the stamp.  That is because a member who was logged in was browsing the site and his/her info was captured when they opened your page.

MEB Mail List FAQs

Question: What is MEB Mailing List?

The MEB Mailing list is an automated tool that MEB uses to keep open communication between all members of the MEB club.

Question: How do I know if I am on the MEB Mailing list?

You can do this two ways…

Send an email to MEB@earlybroncos.com with the words Test in the subject.  If you are valid member of the email list you will see a reply in about an hour or two (maybe longer, and check your spam filter) but be careful you are emailing all of the members on the list.

Or contact webmaster@earlybroncos.com with your email address and wait for a reply.  Put “Mail List Issues” in the subject line.

Question: How do I add myself to the MEB Mailing list?

Send an email to MEB-ON@earlybroncos.com and await a confirmation and approval from the list master.  If you feel inclined send an email to webmaster@earlybroncos.com to give a heads up of your intention to sign up for the list, that way he knows to expect a subscription request.

Question: How do I remove myself from the MEB Mailing list?

Send an email to MEB-OFF@earlybroncos.com and await reply.  You will be automatically removed from the list.
